A Rockin' Song for Patriots

I love this song from the radio program "Wall Builder Live!" - its in the same genre as Lee Greenwood's, "Proud to be an American".

Soldier Statue

Something every American should see.

This statue currently stands outside the Iraqi palace, now home to the 4th Infantry division. It will eventually be shipped home and put in the memorial museum in Fort Hood, Texas. The statue was created by an Iraqi artist named Kalat, who for years was forced by Saddam Hussein to make the many hundreds of bronze busts of Saddam that dotted Baghdad.

Kalat was so grateful for the Americans liberation of his country; he melted 3 of the heads of the fallen Saddam and made the statue as a memorial to the American soldiers and their fallen warriors. Kalat worked on this memorial night and day for several months.

To the left of the kneeling soldier is a small Iraqi girl giving the soldier comfort as he mourns the loss of his comrade in arms.Do you know why we don't hear about this in the news? Because it is heart warming and praise worthy. The media avoids it because it does not have the shock effect that a flashed breast or controversy of politics does.

Your Hard Working $$$ Goes To Abortion

Did you know that over a 7 year period, Planned Parenthood a "not-for-profit" organization, receives over $1.5 billion (that's with a "b") from federal taxes. Between state and federal taxes, Planned Parenthood receives $300-$400 million per year. Hillary Clinton - The GOP Dream

An excerpt from: Why Hillary Makes My Wife Scream - Tom Hayden, The Nation - as found in April 23rd's realclearpolitics.com -

To use the current terminology, Hillary people are bitter people, even more bitter than the white working-class voters Barack has talked about. Because they circle the wagons so tightly, they don't recognize how identical, self-reinforcing and out-of-touch they are.

To take just one example, the imagined association between Barack Obama and Bill Ayers will suffice. Hillary is blind to her own roots in the sixties. In one college speech she spoke of ecstatic transcendence; in another, she said, "Our social indictment has broadened. Where once we exposed the quality of life in the world of the South and the ghettos, now we condemn the quality of work in factories and corporations. Where once we assaulted the exploitation of man, now we decry the destruction of nature as well. How much long can we let corporations run us?"

She was in Chicago for three nights during the 1968 street confrontations. She chaired the 1970 Yale law school meeting where students voted to join a national student strike again an "unconscionable expansion of a war that should never have been waged." She was involved in the New Haven defense of Bobby Seale during his murder trial in 1970, as the lead scheduler of student monitors. She surely agreed with Yale president Kingman Brewster that a black revolutionary couldn't get a fair trial in America. She wrote that abused children were citizens with the same rights as their parents.

Most significantly in terms of her recent attacks on Barack, after Yale law school, Hillary went to work for the left-wing Bay Area law firm of Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein, which specialized in Black Panthers and West Coast labor leaders prosecuted for being communists. Two of the firm's partners, according to Treuhaft, were communists and the two others "tolerated communists". Then she went on to Washington to help impeach Richard Nixon, whose career was built on smearing and destroying the careers of people through vague insinuations about their backgrounds and associates. (All these citations can be found in Carl Bernstein's sympathetic 2007 Clinton biography, A Woman in Charge.)

All these were honorable words and associations in my mind, but doesn't she see how the Hillary of today would accuse the Hillary of the sixties of associating with black revolutionaries who fought gun battles with police officers, and defending pro-communist lawyers who backed communists? Doesn't the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whom Hillary attacks today, represent the very essence of the black radicals Hillary was associating with in those days? And isn't the Hillary of today becoming the same kind of guilt-by-association insinuator as the Richard Nixon she worked to impeach?

It is as if Hillary Clinton is engaged in a toxic transmission onto Barack Obama of every outrageous insult and accusation ever inflicted on her by the American right over the decades. She is running against what she might have become. Too much politics dries the soul of the idealist.

It is abundantly clear that the Clintons, working with FOX News and manipulating old Clinton staffers like George Stephanopoulos, are trying, at least unconsciously, to so damage Barack Obama that he will be perceived as "unelectable" to Democratic superdelegates. It is also clear that the campaign of defamation against Obama has resulted in higher negative ratings for Hillary Clinton. She therefore is threatening the Democratic Party's chances for the White House, whether or not she is the nominee.

Since no one in the party leadership seems able or willing to intervene against this self-destructive downward spiral, perhaps progressives need to consider responding in the only way politicians sometimes understand. If they can't hear us screaming at the television sets, we can send a message that the Clintons are acting as if they prefer John McCain to Barack Obama. And follow it up with another message: if Clinton doesn't immediately cease her path of destruction, millions of young voters and black voters may not send checks, may not knock on doors, and may not even vote for her if she becomes the nominee. That's not a threat, that's the reality she is creating.

"Carrier" - PBS Documentary

"CARRIER", a PBS documentary filmed aboard USS NIMITZ during the ship's 2005 six-month deployment is scheduled to air beginning Sunday, April 27, over a five-day period. Through 10-one hour episodes, the series gives a candid snapshot of the personal and professional stories of recurring characters, chosen by PBS-who had uninhibited access to the crew and unclassified areas of the ship.
Both the failures and successes of the selected crewmembers are told by the Sailors themselves, without narration from PBS or intervention from the command. Overall, "CARRIER"depicts the exceptional daily performance of our Sailors, the opportunities offered by the Navy, leadership in action, and the personal and professional frustrations encountered onboard a carrier.
In addition to the documentary, PBS is hosting a series of one hour sneak previews across the country. Premieres are expected in over adozen cities to include Norfolk, Washington D.C., New York and Los Angeles.

National Day of Prayer - May 1st

Its been a couple of days since my last posting, shift work and reserves can take up a lot of time. I wanted to pass on AFA's message about the national day of prayer on May 1st. Let's get involved and let's pray for our nation - see my posting below about prayers for our nation.
From the AFA: "This year's theme, 'Prayer! America's Strength and Shield,' reflects the words of Psalm 28:7, which states: 'The Lord is my strength and shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped.' We hope this powerful message will not only serve as a catalyst to draw God's people closer together as we intercede corporately on behalf of our country, but that it will encourage individuals to seek the Lord's guidance for their personal concerns as well."

"If you would like more information on how you might unite with your fellow believers and citizens to intercede on behalf of our great nation, I invite you to visit the National Day of Prayer Web site: nationaldayofprayer.org."

CNNMoney.com FORTUNE - Queer, Inc.

This article provides a good start-up boycott list for those corporations that are not in line with God's word in regards to homosexuality.

http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2006/12/11/8395465/index.htm

Note: This article was written at the end of 2006. There are some changes.

1.) WALMART has fallen away from its support of the homosexual agenda, and is taking a positive step towards bringing in Christian customers.

2.) FORD has recently agreed to terms with the American Family Association in regards to its support of the homosexual agenda. The American Family Association has pulled its boycott from FORD products.

3.)General Motors (manufacturers of such products as Saturn); however, has stepped forward and has publicly endorsed the homosexual agenda.

4.)McDonald's Corp. (also owners of Chipotle and Donato's Pizza) has also stepped forward to publicly endorse the homosexual agenda.

Eureka Springs Incident and Hate Crime Laws

In light of Hillary Clinton's desparate attempt to win Pennsylvania, she has strategically gambled on an unprecedent support of the gay agenda. She has done so in Philadelphia, which is not only gay friendly, but has "punished" the Boy Scouts of America for standing behind their belief that "a scout is reverent".

Polical stratgists for both parties agree that the key to winning Pa. whether in a primary or an election is to win the lion's share of Philadelphia. See two posts below for further details.
There are two videos I would invite you to view in regards to what happens when the gay/athiest agenda takes over:

1.) "They're Coming To Your Town" - On the right side of this blog, click on American Family Association. On their home page, click the box with this title. Our church has viewed this video, it is really scary.
2.) "Silencing the Christians" - follow this link: www.silencingchristians.com.

We need to take any mention of "Hate Crimes" seriously. Passage of Hate Crime legislation will eventually lead to the eradication of our First Amendment Rights to freedom of speech and religion. Further information on this topic and what our side is doing about it can be found by clicking on The Liberty Council to the right.
Let the torch of freedon forever burn!!!

Clinton Says She Will Defend Gay Rights

Has Hillary ever opened a Bible? Does she not know of the incredible danger she is heading to with this policy? I cannot even imagine the consequences to our nation (Deuteronomy 28) if she were elected President AND did all that she says below.

I said it before, and I'll say it again, "The election of Hillary Clinton will be the greatest politcal catastrophy in the history of the United States, even surpassing Jimmy Carter":

Clinton says she will defend gay rights

By NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writer Thu Apr 3, 7:27 PM ET

WASHINGTON - Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said she would defend gay rights as president and eliminate disparities for same-sex couples in federal law, including immigration and tax policy.

Clinton said states such as New Jersey and Massachusetts are extending rights to gay couples "and the federal government should recognize that and should extend the same access to federal benefits across the board. I will very much work to achieve that."

Clinton's comments came in an interview with the Philadelphia Gay News that was posted on its Web site Thursday.

Clinton said she and her husband have many gay friends that they socialize with when they get the chance. "I've got friends, literally, around the country that I'm close to. It's part of my life," she said.

She said that when they ask her why they can't get married, she tells them marriage is a state law. She said that fact helped defeat a constitutional amendment to prohibit same-sex weddings that she said would "enshrine discrimination in the Constitution."

"States are really beginning seriously to deal with the whole range of options, including marriage, both under their own state constitutions and under the legislative approach," she said.

"I anticipate that there will be a very concerted amount of effort in the next couple of years that will move this important issue forward and different states will take different approaches as they did with marriage over many years and you will see an evolution over time."

Clinton said she opposes a measure that would ban gay marriage in Pennsylvania.

"I would be very distressed if Pennsylvania were to adopt that kind of mean-spirited referendum and I hope it won't happen," she said.

Clinton's Democratic rival Barack Obama and Republican John McCain declined the newspaper's invitation for an interview. The paper criticized Obama and highlighted his refusal to talk by leaving a blank space on the front page where his interview would have appeared.
Clinton also said she would:

• Eliminate her husband's policy of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" that prevents gays from serving openly in the military. Asked if she could do so by a signing order connected to a military appropriations bill, Clinton said she didn't think that is possible but she would look into it and do it if it were legal.

• Be "very strongly outspoken" against foreign governments that execute gays and use financial assistance and other leverage to prevent the killings.

• Support federal domestic partner legislation to extend rights to all same-sex couples.

• Support services for gay youth, including guidance for schools about the discrimination they face.

• Continue to support gay pride celebrations, to the extent that security would allow. "I don't think the Secret Service let Bill walk in a parade when he became president," she said.

Thoughts from Andy Rooney

This has been passed around the internet, you may have seen it, but there are some valid points to be made. The original I received had Andy Rooney's photo - enjoy:

Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one is trying to ban you from driving to the ball game.

I believe they are called the Boy Scouts for a reason, which is why there are no girls allowed. Girls belong in the Girl Scouts! ARE YOU LISTENING MARTHA BURKE ? (for more info on this opposer of Conservatives, Patriots and those who hold dearly Judeo-Christian values, go to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martha_Burk

I think that if you feel homosexuality is wrong, it is not a phobia, it is an opinion. I have the right "NOT" to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird, or tick me off.

I believe that if you are selling me a milkshake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen, you should have to speak English!

My father and grandfather didn't die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours.

I think the police should have every right to shoot you if you threaten them after they tell you to stop. If you can't underst and the word "freeze" or "stop" in English, see the above lines.

I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you are qualified for any special loan programs, government sponsored bank loans or tax breaks, etc., so you can open a hotel, coffee shop, trinket store, or any other business.

We did not go to the aid of certain foreign countries and risk their lives in wars to defend their freedoms, so that decades later they could come over here and tell us our constitution is a "living document"; and open to their interpretations.

I don't hate the rich I don't pity the poor

I know pro wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television. That doesn't stop you from watching them.

I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it ticks you off, go and invent the next operating system that's better, and put your name on the building.

It doesn't take a whole village to raise a child right, but it does take a parent to stand up to the kid; and smack their little behinds when necessary, and say "NO!"

I think tattoos and piercing are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. And, please, stay home until that new lip ring heals. I don't want to look at your ugly infected mouth as you serve me French fries!

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG, OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA , AND TO THE REPUBLIC, FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL!

It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a problem in having "In God We Trust" on our money and having "God" in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the 14% to BE QUIET!!!

Ronald McDonald Cozies up to Homosexual Movement

From LifeSiteNews.com
WASHINGTON, DC, March 31, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) has announced that Richard Ellis, vice president of communications for McDonald's USA, has been appointed to its board of directors.
A press release earlier this month
(http://www.nglcc.org/ht/display/ReleaseDetails/i/15486/pid/5) confirmed that this organization, which promotes homosexual business ventures, has received an endorsement from McDonald's and has the VP of communications for the world's biggest fast-food chain on its board.
"We could not be more delighted with the addition of Richard to the Board," said NGLCC co-founder and president Justin Nelson. "Richard brings his extensive experience in communications and public affairs to a dynamic team of leaders.""I'm thrilled to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce team and ready to get to work," said Ellis. "I share the NGLCC's passion for business growth and development within the LGBT community and I look forward to playing a role in moving these important initiatives forward."
"Richard's vast Board experience with LGBT and advocacy related organizations make him an excellent addition to the board," said NGLCC co-founder and CEO Chance Mitchell. "Richard is going to be a terrific director and we look forward to working with him towards great things."
Before joining McDonald's USA, Ellis was vice president of communications and public affairs for McDonald's in Canada.
According to a WorldNetDaily report, McDonald's officials declined to make a comment on the placement of one of its executives on NGLCC board, but did confirm the corporation's support for the agenda of the homosexual business lobby."McDonald's is indeed a Corporate Partner and Organizational Ally of NGLCC. Our vice president of U.S. communications, Richard Ellis, was recently elected to its board of directors," said the brief statement from Heidi M. Barker, senior director of media relations.

You CAN Make a Difference!

Recently, I heard a comment on the radio broadcast show Wallbuilders Live, which can be heard on Christian radio stations between 1830-1900 EST (WKCL 91.5 FM in the Charleston, SC area), that sparked renewal in my belief that one person CAN make a difference.
In particular, the two hosts were discussing the organization and the war chests of our opposition: the ACLU, GLAAD, Planned Parenthood, etc. They were dicussing the importance of Christians and Conservatives to get organized and to give donations. The one host, almost in dismay, commented how difficult it seemed to be able to match up to the financial base of some of the organizations. The other host, almost in disgust, says something to the effect that there IS that type of money on our side, we simply have to pony up!
I whole hearedly agree. If we organize and each person does his/her part, we not only can meet these organizations toe-to-toe, but we can win, because God will recognize our faith through actions and grant us His hand of victory. If we sit in our pews and hope someone else will do it, then we are not showing faith.
A prime example is the campaign of Barack Obama. The lion's share of donations to his campaign have come from the $10's and $25's of people at or below medium income level. The amount a volunteers that have helped his campaign are staggering. Why? Because people are electrified in what he says and are taking action.
You can make a difference with a donation, no matter how small, to one or more of the organizations listed in the website directory listed to the right. You can make a difference by writing a letter, making a phone call or dropping an e-mail as directed by these organizations.
For example, Life Decisions International (see link on the right) is dedicated to providing a comprehensive list of those companies that provide $$$ aid to Planned Parenthood, and ergo abortion clinics. For those that have been faithful and received the list and have contacted those companies with the information given, the result = a total of $40 million in donations to Planned Parenthood have been retracted by 160+ companies.
You can make a difference! Get out of the pews, get involved and open your wallets and purses. Support these organizations that are fighting not only for our way of life, but also for our legal rights (see The Liberty Council on the right) as Christians and Conservatives.
